First Day of School Field Trip

Yep, I know how to start the school year right, with a field trip.  We ventured with our homeschooling friends to the Creation Museum in Florence, KY.   Here are the kids in our group.  Yes, there were quite a few of us.  What a blessing to have such great friends!

 The Museum focuses on the 7 Cs of Creation, explaining how the world began, what went wrong, and how God redeems our lives. 

The 7 Cs:  Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross, Consummation.  These can  seen in this amazing quilt looking clockwise beginning with the second circle.  In person, this was a breathtaking work of art.   (For more info on the 7 Cs check out this link  http://www.answersingenesis.org/museum/docs/7cs.asp)

The museum does a fantastic job of pointing people to the cross of Jesus where God offers forgiveness, purpose, and the promise of eternal life.   God did indeed create this world and He does indeed have a plan for eternity.
