Follow Up

I got ahold of the HVAC guy yesterday and asked him what the problem was with our furnace.  He said they discovered the electricians had mislabeled the circuit breaker, and the breaker which was labeled "dryer" was actually the furnace.  When we left the house in January, I had flipped off all the non-essential circuits in the house.  One of these being... the dryer.  So during the entire frigid winter, the basement and the main floor did not have any heat from the furnace.  Before we left I made the decision (hindsight tells us now that it was God leading me) to leave a space heater on each floor and leave them running.  Had I not done so, we would have had some problems.  Again, just another example of God watching out for us when we didn't even know what he was doing.

So, they flipped the breaker back on and the furnace is now functioning again.  And after we pay them for coming to flip a switch, everything will be all good once again.

Please continue to pray for the sale of our house.  We are set to close on the 25th of April.

  1. Good call on that one! Who knew a simple mislabeling could be such a hassle? Good thing you guys solved this before the April 25th deadline. Hopefully, there shouldn't be any problems now that could impede its sale. Good luck!
