Isaiah 40:6,8 "All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field. The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever."

Not just Spanish study
Last week Holly and I went with a bunch of the language school students to see the movie "God's Not Dead". I was a little hesitant at first because I didn't know anything about it and I am not a fan of Hollywood making movies about Christianity, and usually in the process making Christians and Christianity look bad. That was definitely not the case with this movie. If you get a chance and are looking for a good movie to watch, it has my recommendation. It really sticks to the issue of the question, does the Christian God exist? If you are looking for an apologetic defense of the faith, this is not it, but I don't think that was the intention. Although it does bring up a few good basic points to think about without going too deep into finer theological issues. (Disclaimer: I do think the finer theological issues are important, but you cannot address issues which involve the nature and character of God with someone who does not believe in the existence of God. That is like trying to convince someone that snow is white, when they don't believe that snow exists.)
